Should have become a dentist

Ok so I was going to post a picture to accompany this post, however if you type "bad teeth" into google it provokes a gut wrenching reaction (and my teeth are certainly not that bad)

Long story short, I went to the dentist today, after 3 years of not going since I went to university.
I now have a £500 bill to foot.

Goodbye (well earned) research money!

Moral of the story: see your dentist regularly at least every 6 months to a year....

Ouch! I had a hefty bill when I last went as well. I'd left it 6 years- combination of my old dentist closing shop, moving around a lot, and sheer forgetfulness. Until the wisdom teeth started kicking my ass- and bank balance.

Bloody Dentists! Mine has recently deserted the NHS in favour of private practice! I have been forced to join Dentaplan against my will!!!!!!

I typed it in and it made me feel sick! I've been good my parents are strict about me going to the dentist every six months.

I also have wisdom teeth and some how got under the hospital for them.

Oh dear, commiserations on the dental bill. I dread to think what my dentist will charge me if I go get a check up.

One of my younger sisters has decided to become a dentist. She has made this decision based on my inability to secure a Pupillage. So, that's another reason why I/you should have become a dentist.

I haven't applied for pupillage yet, so no idea if I actually stand a chance!! But yes obviously I should have spent my brain power training to become a dentist, if that is there going rate for 3 fillings, one hygenist appoint and a general appointment.

But hopefully that will be my daily rate if I appear in the bailey!

£500?! Was that on the NHS?! Shall certainly be booking myself in pronto in that case. Nice work with the 'box ticking' by the way!

Private :( but I want white fillings, and we all know how much NHS hate giving out nice things :(

Another new blogger will also add you to my list!
